Building a product in public means you need a place where people can actually talk to you. Email works. A subreddit works. But neither gives you the kind of fast, informal back-and-forth that makes early-stage feedback useful.
So we started a Discord server. You can join here.
Why Discord
We looked at a few options. Slack felt too corporate for a product community. Forums are great for long-form discussion but slow for real-time help. Discord hits the middle ground: it is casual enough that people actually use it, and structured enough that conversations don't disappear into a single noisy feed.
More importantly, a lot of the developers and creators we're building for are already on Discord every day. Meeting people where they are matters more than picking the theoretically perfect platform.
What You'll Find Inside
The server is intentionally simple right now. A few channels, a clear purpose:
- Support: stuck on something? Ask us directly and get help fast.
- Feature requests: tell us what you wish AppVideoStudio did. We read everything.
- Show and tell: share videos you've made. See what other people are building.
- General chat: talk about app marketing, video production, whatever is on your mind.
We will add more channels as the community grows, but we would rather start focused than scatter conversations across a dozen empty rooms.
Who It's For
Anyone using AppVideoStudio or thinking about it. Indie developers making their first App Store video. Marketing teams looking for a faster workflow. Designers who want to push the timeline components further than the defaults. If you care about making apps look great on screen, you belong here.
The best product decisions come from watching real people use the thing. Discord gives us a direct line to that.
Early Adopters Shape the Product
We are still early. The people who join now have an outsized impact on what gets built next. Feature priorities, design decisions, and workflow improvements are all being shaped by the conversations happening in the server right now.
This isn't a broadcast channel. We're in there every day, answering questions and taking notes. If you've been waiting for the right moment to share feedback or ask for something specific, this is it.
Join the Discord and say hello. We're looking forward to building this with you.
