These Terms of Service govern your use of AppVideoStudio. By using this product, you agree to these terms.
1. Eligibility and Accounts
You may use the service only if you can legally enter into this agreement and are legally able to make subscription payments for this product in your jurisdiction.
Paid subscriptions require Google sign-in and Stripe checkout. You are responsible for your account activity and for maintaining secure access to your Google account.
Your use of the service is also subject to our Privacy Policy.
2. Subscriptions, Billing, and Refunds
Pro and Studio are recurring monthly subscriptions billed by Stripe. You can cancel through Stripe at any time. Access to paid features may end when a subscription is canceled or unpaid.
All payments are final and non-refundable. We provide free access to core app functionality so you can evaluate the product before subscribing.
A refund may be considered only where all of the following are true: (a) you have not used the paid service, (b) the service is unable to deliver a premium feature, and (c) we cannot resolve the issue within a reasonable time frame. Forgetting to cancel before renewal is not a valid reason for a refund.
Your computer being too slow, lacking sufficient RAM, VRAM, CPU, GPU, storage, or otherwise not being capable of producing your desired video output is not a valid reason for a refund or chargeback. You may still cancel your subscription in accordance with these Terms, but cancellation on that basis does not entitle you to any refund. You are responsible for confirming that your hardware is suitable for your intended workflow before subscribing and before attempting higher-resolution exports. At a minimum, you must test your workflow at 720p on your own system before attempting exports such as 1080p or 4K. Our software is tested on reasonably priced computers, but performance will still depend on your specific device, configuration, media, and project complexity.
You agree not to initiate unjustified chargebacks. We may suspend or terminate access for payment disputes or chargebacks and may recover related costs where permitted by law.
3. Acceptable Use
You agree not to use the service for unlawful activities, abuse, or attempts to interfere with platform operations.
4. Intellectual Property and Content
You retain ownership of your project content. AppVideoStudio retains ownership of software, branding, and proprietary timeline components.
You grant AppVideoStudio a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free, transferable, sublicensable license to use, host, store, reproduce, modify, adapt, publish, distribute, publicly display, publicly perform, and create derivative works from your content for any business purpose, including operating and improving the service, marketing, advertising, case studies, portfolio use, and publication on websites, social media, and other channels.
You represent and warrant that you have all rights and permissions necessary to grant this license and that our permitted use of your content will not violate any law or third-party rights.
5. Suspension and Termination
We may suspend or terminate any account or access at any time, with or without notice, with or without cause, and without explanation, to the maximum extent permitted by law.
We are not liable for any loss, damages, or claims resulting from suspension, termination, or account restrictions.
6. Service and Terms Changes
We may modify the service, features, pricing, and these Terms at any time. Updated Terms are effective when posted, unless a later effective date is stated.
Saved productions, projects, and videos may change over time as we evolve, replace, or improve underlying timeline components, rendering systems, or defaults. While we try to maintain backward compatibility where reasonably practical, we do not guarantee that a previously saved production will remain 100% identical or render exactly the same in the future. The best workflow is to complete your work in a timely manner and export your final deliverables once they are ready. Although issues are not likely, this approach reduces whatever risk may exist from future component or rendering changes.
For material changes, we will generally provide advance notice through the website, product, or email. Your continued use after the effective date means you accept the updated Terms.
7. Third-Party Services
The service may rely on or integrate with third-party providers including, without limitation, Stripe, Google OAuth, and Cloudflare. Those services are governed by their own terms and policies.
AppVideoStudio is not responsible or liable for third-party services, outages, delays, security incidents, policy changes, or data handling by third-party providers.
8. Disputes, Arbitration, Governing Law, and Venue
To the maximum extent permitted by law, disputes arising from or relating to the service or these Terms will be resolved by final and binding individual arbitration, and not by court proceedings, except for claims eligible for small claims court.
To the maximum extent permitted by law, you and AppVideoStudio waive any right to a jury trial and waive any right to participate in a class action, class arbitration, or representative proceeding.
These Terms are governed by the laws of Quebec, Canada, without regard to conflict-of-law principles. If arbitration is unavailable or unenforceable for a claim, exclusive jurisdiction and venue lie in the courts located in Quebec, Canada.
9. Disclaimer and Limitation of Liability
The service is provided "as is" and "as available," without warranties of any kind, express or implied.
To the maximum extent permitted by law, AppVideoStudio and its owners, operators, affiliates, employees, and contractors are not liable for any direct, indirect, incidental, consequential, special, exemplary, or punitive damages, or for any loss of data, content, revenue, profits, business, goodwill, or other intangible losses arising from or related to your use of the service.
Where any liability cannot be fully disclaimed under applicable law, our total aggregate liability is limited to the amount you paid to AppVideoStudio in the 30 days before the event giving rise to the claim.
10. Data Deletion
You are responsible for maintaining your own backups. We may delete account data and project data immediately, without prior notice, including after cancellation, inactivity, suspension, or termination, to the maximum extent permitted by law.
